Your Privacy Matters to Us
This policy explains how Online Ignition SRL operates Colloqvia, what personal data we collect, and how we use it — including your AI conversations and subscriptions.
Last Updated: May 23, 2026
Online Ignition SRL ("Colloqvia", "we", "us", or "our") is the data controller for personal information processed through https://colloqvia.com and our related apps and services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect:
We automatically collect certain information about how you use the platform:
When you chat with historical characters, we collect:
If you choose to authenticate with an external provider, we receive limited profile information from that provider:
Colloqvia is an AI-powered conversation platform. Character replies are generated by language models — they are not written by humans and are not historical records.
We store your messages, AI-generated replies, and related conversation metadata in our database so you can continue chats, view history, and use features like bookmarks.
To generate replies, your messages (and relevant conversation context) are sent to third-party language model providers such as OpenAI. These providers act as subprocessors and process data on our behalf to deliver the chat service.
If you use Colloqvia without registering, we create a temporary guest account linked to a cookie or API token. Guest conversations and usage limits are stored the same way as registered users, until you convert to a full account or the guest session ends.
If you create a share link, anyone with that link can read the shared conversation until you revoke it or the link expires. Do not share links containing information you want to keep private.
We retain conversation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You may delete conversations from your account; contact us to request broader deletion.
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process conversation data to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Colloqvia offers paid subscriptions for unlimited access to AI conversations. We do not sell physical products.
Subscription checkout is handled by Polar.sh, which acts as Merchant of Record for online orders. Polar collects and processes payment information (such as card details and billing data) to complete your purchase.
We receive subscription status, customer identifiers, and limited billing-related information needed to activate and manage your access. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Polar may handle payment-related customer inquiries and receipts according to its own terms and privacy policy. Account and conversation support is provided by Colloqvia.
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process subscription and billing-related data to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
